Description
The Seiko 5 SNKK86K1 belongs to one of the most iconic lines in Japanese watchmaking. Launched in 1963, the Seiko 5 collection embodies accessible automatics with reliable performance and timeless design.
This black dial variant features a gold-tone (gilt) stainless steel case and bracelet, creating a sophisticated two-tone look. The 37-38mm case is powered by the automatic 7S26 caliber (21 jewels) with ~41 hours power reserve. Note: the 7S26 does not feature hacking or manual winding – an intentional characteristic of this entry-level caliber.
The black dial is protected by Hardlex glass, Seiko's proprietary treatment for scratch resistance. The exhibition case back allows you to observe the movement in operation. The stainless steel bracelet secures with a deployment buckle for easy on/off.
With 30m water resistance, this watch is suitable for splashes and rain. Accuracy hovers around ±15 seconds per day, which is expected for an automatic movement in this segment. A classic Seiko 5 for everyday wear. Backed by a 1-year warranty.
