eWINNER 12.7mm SATA Aluminium Second Hard Drive Caddy for Laptop CD DVD Optical Bay, Add a 2.5 inch SSD or HDD - GY-89RP-FUUC

Turn an unused laptop CD or DVD drive bay into extra storage with this eWINNER 12.7mm second hard drive caddy. Slide a 2.5 inch SATA SSD or hard drive into the aluminium caddy, swap it in place of the optical drive, and your laptop gains a second drive for files, backups, games or media. Adding an SSD this way is a practical upgrade that keeps your original drive in place while giving you more room to work. Three optional channels let the caddy suit laptops from different brands, and screws and a screwdriver come in the box for fitting. The aluminium body is light yet rigid and helps hold the drive securely. Check that your laptop's optical drive is 12.7mm thick before ordering, as this caddy is made for 12.7mm optical bays.
