Machined from aluminium alloy, the set mounts on your support while the plate stays on the camera, so switching rigs no longer means unscrewing and re-balancing every time. A locking knob clamps the plate tight to stop slipping, and a safety pin acts as a second line of defence against the plate sliding out by accident. The rubber pad on the plate protects the base of your camera, and the built-in bubble level shows at a glance when your shot is straight. Quarter-inch and 3/8-inch screws and multiple mounting holes add flexibility for different devices. The plate follows the widely used standard for Manfrotto 501, 500AH, 701HDV, 503HDV, Q5, 501HDV, 577, 519 and 561 heads. Camera and tripod are not included.
