The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC817P1 pairs a classic sports chronograph look with light-powered convenience. Its solar calibre V192 charges from any light source and runs for around six months on a full charge, with a power reserve indicator so you always know where you stand and overcharge prevention built in. The chronograph times events up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second steps, supported by a tachymeter scale, a 24-hour hand, small seconds and a date display. A 39mm stainless steel case only 13.3mm thick sits comfortably under a cuff, topped by curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. LumiBrite on the hands and indexes keeps the dial readable after dark, while a screw case back and 10 bar water resistance make it ready for daily wear. The matching stainless steel bracelet closes with a push-button fold-over clasp.
