Description

Created for filmmakers and low-light specialists, the Sony Alpha 7S III combines a 12.1MP back-illuminated Exmor R full-frame sensor with the BIONZ XR engine, delivering up to eight times the processing performance of the previous generation and twice the sensor readout speed of the 7S II. It records 4K with full-pixel readout and no binning in every mode, and a new heat management structure supports around an hour of continuous 4K 60p recording. Sensitivity extends to ISO 409600 and S-Log3 offers more than 15 stops of dynamic range. Fast Hybrid AF with 759 phase-detection points, in-body sensor-shift stabilisation, a 9.44-million-dot 0.90x viewfinder and a 3.0 inch vari-angle touchscreen support confident shooting. Dual CFexpress Type A and SD slots, full-size HDMI, USB-C and 5 GHz Wi-Fi make it a dependable professional workhorse.
