Canon EOS R8 brings full-frame quality to a body of just 461g, here paired with the compact RF24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens. The 24.2 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC X processor capture clean, detailed images up to ISO 102,400, and autofocus works down to EV -6.5. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with EOS iTR AF X detects and tracks people, animals and vehicles, while the electronic shutter shoots up to 40 fps. For video, 4K 60p is oversampled from 6K for exceptional clarity, Full HD 180p adds slow motion, and Canon Log 3 10-bit and HDR PQ give flexible colour. Pre-recording, false colour, zebras and UVC/UAC webcam support make it a capable creator tool. The vari-angle screen and 0.39 inch OLED viewfinder keep framing easy, and the full kit weighs 671g with battery and card.
