Canon RF 50mm F1.8 STM Prime Lens for EOS R Mirrorless Cameras, Fast f1.8 Aperture, Near-Silent STM Autofocus, Compact 160g Design, Black

The Canon RF 50mm F1.8 STM is a small, light and affordable standard prime for EOS R series mirrorless cameras, often called the modern nifty fifty. Its fast f/1.8 maximum aperture helps in low light and lets you blur backgrounds so portraits, food and everyday subjects stand out, while a 7-blade circular aperture renders soft, rounded bokeh. The STM stepping motor focuses smoothly, quickly and almost silently, which suits both stills and video. An aspherical (PMo) element and Super Spectra Coating help deliver sharp, colour-accurate images, and the lens focuses as close as 30 cm for detail shots. Weighing just 160 g and measuring only 40.5 mm long, it mounts directly on RF-mount cameras with no adapter and is easy to carry every day. A combined focus and control ring gives quick access to settings, and the 43 mm filter thread keeps filters compact. The box includes the lens, Lens Cap E-43 and Lens Dust Cap RF.
